some more randomnicity...

february has been a pretty busy month. not like a lot of things are happening, but it seems like there are endless things to do.

yesterday my most daring (i meant to say daring and not darling, as he is rassling two chilluns right now) re-enlisted in the navy! and now fer shur we are moving to connecticut, and after that, places unknown. i currently don't have any photos of the ceremony, having two kids, and only two hands, but next week i should have some to share. i do have a picture of the certificate that i got!


it turns out that the navy likes me. go figure...

other than that, i have been crocheting like crazy! dishcloths dishcloths and more dishcloths. my hands are tired of cotton, but i still have more to burn through. so, i think i will be making still more... maybe a table runner or something.

oh yeah... i love ginni and dave. they are FABULOUS!


other than that, i have some knitting to do, and tomorrow i am off to stitches west!!! i can't wait!!!

i swear... i should just change the name of my blog to "adventures in poop"! thanks to mr. jakers i have another beautiful day of laundry ahead of me. at least there was no poo on my hand... just my arm and shirt. bleh!


and three loads of laundry later, i let you all know i had to wash the sheets again.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

one of those days...

have you ever known it was going to be one of those days, like, the MINUTE you wake up? i have all the time. for instance take this morning... i woke up at 8, and couldn't go back to sleep. that is really early for me. well... not REALLY early, but enough to make me desperately want a cup of coffee. anyway... back to my story... so there we are, liz is sleeping, and jake is quietly nursing, and i am laying in a zombified state. usually the first thing jake does in the morning is poop, and today was like any other... except for the fact that while i am changing him, poop the consistency of hot dog slurry (thanks "how it's made) shot out of him. what can i say? my instincts took over. not the ones that make me run away screaming like a rabbit in a trap, but the ones that say "you sooooo don't want to do more laundry today." so i caught it. in my hand. it was hot. and stinky. i washed my hands twice in really hot water. yeah... today is going to be one of those days, but... i guess a poop in the hand is worth none in the sheets.


after thought... i wasn't going to run away like a rabbit in a trap, that would be silly. i was going to scream like a rabbit. for those of you that don't know... rabbits scream really ugly.

nuthin much is going on around here. just working up my yarns and trying to get stuff done.

here is jake. he is reading the news. he is a bit concerned about how many americans live their lives without a bit of wahoo. it makes him sad. and then we watch little house, and all is well.

i don't know what has gotten into me. i mean i joined another two "a-longs"!!! so now i am part of the year long gift a long, and the stash a long. both should be very encouraging. i feel like i have been acquiring too much yarn, and not doing too much with it, so these should help keep me in check! yeah!

i feel like that commercial that says "GO MEAT!" but instead i am going to say "GO ME!"

other than that, i have finished some stuff on the good ole uber, but i won't post until i do quite a few more things. i don't want to bore you all...

OH! and in big jake, big old jake news... my littlest big kiddo has two, count em, TWO teeth! good for him, not my boobs.
