so... i don't think the WIP wednesday, or the FO friday is working out so well. i have been working on clapotis, and spinning my fiber of the month, but i haven't really taken any pics or anything. i think i am a little preoccupied with the whole "i am having a baby pretty soon" thing. plus i have been grumpy von grumpsville. hopefully things will be better soon, and everything will calm down... we shall see...

WIP Wednesday.

okay, so i am going to try and keep on top of my crafting, and i figured i would "borrow" the idea of a WIP Wednesday post as a way of keeping me on track. so...

this week i haven't been doing much. i am about halfway done with my first clapotis (i am late to the party...) i love that it is easy to keep track of, it is super soft malabrigo, and if my mom decides that she really is allergic to wool, i get to keep it. it should make a nice nursing cover up... we shall see. i love the way the dye broke when i overdyed the wool. it reminds me of seaweed.





maybe i can actually finish this by next friday (not this friday). it depends on the amount of heartburn and insomnia i guess...

sure its been a rough night. the heartburn is back. jake won't sleep, there was the bath time incidentS, but i have found what makes me feel better. a little bit more Tori and a lot less Mom.

tonight i changed the drive band, and readjusted my spinning wheel. i also put on the new bobbin i got, and the feeds. all this whilst listening to genius on itunes. nothing like old and new technology coming together in harmony to make everything better.
